A STUDY
A SELECTION OF THE SUBTLE DUSKY BEAUTY OF THE FALL/ WINTER TRANSITIONS

The Autumn- to- Winter transition is a difficult one, a bleak landscape is overshadowed by a perpetual layer of thick wooly clouds. The wind is merciless and the frost -scraping- mud - stomping is enough to tire one out in a terrifically short time!  Even the first strains of carols and promise of the holidays aren’t quite enough to pull us out of this autumnal gloom. Especially as Covid Numbers Soar and the likelihood of another winter in lockdown increases.

Our credo is to find beauty in every season, and gosh- if you know where to look.. this season is just full of it.

Frost covered berries, windswept grasses and beautifully dramatic mists hang over rivers and streams.

Opera’s and ballets beckon (For now) and cafes coax us in with hot cocoa and freshly baked breads such an abundance of good things! One is apt to say that this may- perhaps- be the best season of them all!
